It is most unlikely you’ve heard or read about the reason why popular Nollywood Actress Liz Ameye formerly known as Liz Benson, has decided to return to Nigeria’s Movie industry after a long hiatus. Here is the gist.

The screen goddess has revealed that she got a call from Nollywood’s Stephanie Okereke Idahosa who persuaded her to feature in her latest film production. At first, Liz Benson told Stephanie that she was not interested in acting in any film that did not reflect her religious beliefs.

According to Liz Ameye ( Nee Benson )- ‘Stephanie Okereke Idahosa did a lot to convince me that I would love to be a part of the project after going through the script. After reading the script, I was deeply touched by the message in it. Then I decided to play the part of a Nurse in the film’.

The movie titled ‘Dry’ comes from the stable of Next Page Productions and it focuses on women who are afflicted with Vesico Vaginal Fistula in Nigeria. It will be released soon.
