New Executives emerge as the Powerful Pen Media Chapel concludes election

New Executives have emerged to lead the affairs of the Powerful Pen Media Chapel of Nigerian Union if Journalists, Lagos State Chapter on the 7th of July 2021. The election was conducted by NUJ state executives ably led by the state top seat Comrade Laye Ajayi.

Talking  the contestants before the election the state leader appealed for the spirit of sportsmanship from all so that those who win will carry others along to build a stronger chapel that all will be proud about.

At the end of the election, Udeme Clement emerged as the chairman, Onuoha Silas as the secretary, Asuquo Nuwak as the vice chairman, Patrick Onugbor as financial secretary, Osita Onyewezi as treasurer, Joe Njoku as internal auditor while Dili Utomi won the assistant secretary.

In her victory speech after the election, Udeme Clement appreciated the NUJ state Excos for their patience and promised to carry everyone along in her administration.

Giving the vote of thanks, comrade Ray Ugochukwu the president of Maritime Journalists association of Nigeria gave kudos to the state NUJ Executives for the professional and father role in the entire process of the election. He expressed optimism that the chapel and the association will get stronger after the election.

Speaking  to National Impact magazine, some of the journalists under the powerful pen media chapel tasked the new Executives to work hard in other to raise the standard of the chapel from every ramifications
