Today, the people of Osun State voted for the candidates of their choices, and they are expecting INEC to announce the winner of the election. However, INEC is uploading the election results on the server as each polling unit submitted its results.
INEC officials have concluded voting and sorting of results in some Polling Units while ballot counting has also commenced in the presence of the voters.
The popular Nigerian award-winning singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido is currently in Osun State to monitor the vote of his brother. The People Democratic Party, PDP Governorship Candidate, Senator, Ademola Adeleke is Davido’s Uncle, he is currently supporting his uncle to become the next Governor of Osun.
From the INEC official Website; PDP is currently leading with over 15,000 votes. PDP has 111839 and APC has 96762. His uncle has clinched victory of 17 out 30 local governments already.
