The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has intensified its capacity Creation by harnessing young budding talents who have shown that with a little support and direction they can become household names like the Daddy Showkeys of this world in the entertainment industry.
According to NAGAFF’s Secretary General, Dipo Olayinku, the Association is trying to push these young talents who are willing to make a career in entertainment to keep them off social vices by helping them to attain their goals and the first step to this is to recognize them as NAGAFF ambassadors.
More so, Fwdr. Simeon Nwaonu, the Deputy National president, said NAGAFF is revolutionary in action as it has undertaken to champion the course of these youths. “Dr Aniebonam is one man who wants to make the youths become impactful, NAGAFF stands for peace and for every other thing which the youths need to become successful.”
The lucky eight from the ghetto are; Prince Ndubuisi Anamasonye, a.k.a MC Noise, Ikechukwu Ezegha a.k.a Pupa Iyke, Sunday Bassey a.k.a Big Tanker, Emmanuel Ohanusi Chinonso, Cyril Uzoma Diala, Adeoye Abiodun a.k.a Baba D and Mohammed Abdulahi.
While addressing the awardees, the founder, NAGAFF, Dr Okechukwu Boniface Aniebonam recounted that he was a great footballer whose talent was not harnessed obviously because of lack of opportunities. According to him, NAGAFF has a direction of helping the youths “we are interested in the young ones and that is why we have taken this direction up to the Northwest, developing over 1,500 youths who are now doing well in freight forwarding. We did this because we want them to become useful to the society and the economy. For the ambassadors, we are trying to put them into a pull of resource persons who are earning a living legally and respectfully”.
NAGAFF Founder advised the ambassadors to learn other vocations in addition to what they are doing presently.” According to him, “this is to let the young ones recognize the need to always be on the side of the law ” he explained.
Reacting on behalf of his colleagues, Prince Ndubuisi Anamasonye a.k.a Mc Noise thanked Dr Aniebonam and NAGAFF for this wonderful initiative while noting “that talent without exposure is nothing “.He promised on behalf of his colleagues not to fall short of expectation.
